Important Changes to ordering repeat prescriptions

from 1st January 2019

From 1st January 2019 we will no longer be able to accept requests for repeat prescriptions by telephone.  Please help the Practice by registering asap and ordering your repeat prescriptions by our preferred option, online via our website www.foyers medicalcentre.co.uk or by handing in or posting your repeat prescription slip to the surgery.  These are the only ways we will be taking any orders for medication after the 1st January 2019

If you are having problems registering with the online service, please contact the surgery and we can offer you a time and date to pop in, and one of the Practice team can talk you through the straight forward process.

Many thanks

Training Days

Our next training day will be on Wednesday 14th November.  We will be closed from 1pm that day, re-opening as normal at 9am on the 12th.  NHS24 will be covering our Practice area from 1pm.  Please phone 111 should you wish advice or need to see a GP.  Always phone 999 in an emergency.

We are delighted to have Medical students, Junior Doctors, and Registrars, working alongside the GP’s in the Practice.

If you do not wish to be seen by a trainee or have one present during a consultation, please inform the Reception staff.   Many thanks.

EBOLA and other Viral Haemorrhagic Fever infections

Public Health has requested that we ask anyone who has travelled in the last 21 days from an at risk area for Ebola/Viral Haemorrhagic Fever infections to telephone first for any appointment so their risk can be assessed, if they wish to see a doctor or visit the Medical Centre. Even if you have travelled to the Medical Centre you should still return home and then telephone, if you have travelled in the last 21 days from an at risk area for Ebola/Viral Haemorrhagic Fever infections.
