UPDATE RELATING TO CORONAVIRUS

Due to extremely high volumes we now have to ask for 4 Working days to complete prescription requests
At present we are still only able to prescribe 28 day prescriptions until we as a practice have been informed otherwise.
We have been receiving an extremely high volume of prescription requests.  A lot of these are either too early or asking for extra months. We understand that people are worried but please only order what you need and when you need it.  Early requests will not be approved and cancelled.
Thanks for your understanding during these demanding times.

Obtaining prescriptions and dispensing arrangements

We are a dispensing Practice so we will supply your medication as well as prescribe it. After you see the doctor in the consulting room please go to the reception desk and your medicine will be handed to you.

PRESCRIPTION NOTICE

Due to increased demand and stock availability the waiting time for repeat prescriptions will be increased to

 4 WORKING DAYS

This does not include weekends or Public Holidays.

You may order your repeat medication

green_pills

Medicines not routinely stocked will take a few days to order but we will inform you when we can supply them or issue you a prescription to go to the nearest Pharmacy if necessary. If you are receiving prolonged or regular courses of medication can request a repeat prescription in person, by handing in or posting your repeat prescription slip, or preferably by using our website www.foyersmedicalcentre.co.uk

Medication you have ordered can be collected from the Medical Centre during normal opening hours. You may get someone to collect your medication on your behalf provided they are 16 or over. In limited circumstances for some medication someone aged 12 or over can collect your medication.

If you wish your prescription to be dropped off at Dores Inn or Inverarnie Stores, please choose this option on the online order form on this website.  Prescriptions for Dores Inn or Inverarnie must be placed by 6pm on Monday.

Prescriptions for Dores Inn will be available for collection from Friday am. Please collect between 9am and 11am.  Prescriptions for Inverarnie Stores will be available for collection from Friday am.

If possible please collect or arrange the collection of you medication from the Medical Centre.
